OneNote shortcuts are really easy to use and can make your life much easier. They are one of the most helpful features for multitasking and getting things done quickly.

Hence, it will be very useful to know the shortcuts of functions that you use pretty often.

Useful Shortcuts in OneNote for Windows 11

Commonly used shortcuts

Ctrl+Alt+DDock the OneNote window.
Ctrl+ZUndo the previous action.
Ctrl+YRedo the previous action, if possible.
Ctrl+A To expand the selection, press Ctrl+A again.Select all items on the current page.
Ctrl+XCut the selected text or item.
Ctrl+CCopy the selected text or item to the clipboard.
Ctrl+VPaste the contents of the clipboard.
HomeMove to the beginning of the line.
EndMove to the end of the line.
Ctrl+Left arrow keyMove one word to the left.
Ctrl+Right arrow keyMove one word to the right.
BackspaceDelete one character to the left.
DeleteDelete one character to the right.
Ctrl+BackspaceDelete one word to the left.

Adding objects to the page

Alt+N, SInsert a sticker.
Windows logo key+Shift+S, and then Ctrl+V In OneNote 2007 and 2010, Windows logo key+SInsert a screen clipping. Note: The OneNote icon must be active in the Windows taskbar notification area.
Alt+Shift+DInsert the current date.
Alt+Shift+FInsert the current date and time.
Alt+Shift+TInsert the current time.
Shift+EnterInsert a line break.
