No apps are required to extend your Google Pixel 6 or 6 Pro battery life.

The Google Pixel 6 comes with a 4614 mAh non-removable Li-ion battery that is rated to last 86 hours. In the meantime, the Google Pixel 6 Pro has a slightly larger battery – 5003 mAh – but a shorter battery life – 84 hours.
Given the size of the battery in both the Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro, I believe it is more than enough for daily use. With average usage, you can use your phone for a whole day on a single charge.
However, if you find yourself in a situation where you have to conserve some battery life, there are a few things you can do.

1. Adjust Screen Display
The screen display is one of the parts of your phone that consume the battery the most. Using the too-bright screen, live wallpapers, or animations will drain your battery faster than you thought.
Hence, do the following instructions to adjust your screen display settings to extend your Google Pixel 6 battery life.
Reduce screen brightness
1. Go to your Home screen.
2. Swipe down from the top of your screen.
3. Slide left the brightness adjustment.
In addition, you can also set the screen brightness to adjust automatically by navigating to Settings > Display > Adaptive brightness > Turn it on.
Enable dark theme
1. Go to Settings.
2. Select Display > Dark theme.
Turn off live wallpapers or screen animations

1. Open Settings.
2. Select Display > Lock screen.

Turn off your screen faster
You can set the timer to turn off your screen sooner.

Limit running background apps
Find the apps that are running in the background and drain the battery.
Go to Settings > Battery > Restrict.
Limit battery-hungry apps
See which apps use the battery the most in the last 24 hours. You can limit the function to extend your Google Pixel 6 Pro battery life.
Go to Settings > Battery > Battery usage. Then, see the apps that drain your battery and tap Background restriction.
5. Turn off song identification
Now Playing feature is quite handy in identifying the played song near you. Your phone will automatically tell you the song info like the title and the singer when someone plays a song.
However, if you don’t need the feature at the moment, you can turn it off to save more battery life.
Tap Settings > Sound & vibration > Now Playing > Turn off Identify songs playing nearby.
6. Enable adaptive battery
This feature will let your system decides when to save battery automatically.
Tap Settings > Battery > Adaptive Battery and turn it on.
7. Turn off unused Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
Turn off your Bluetooth or Wi-Fi if currently, you are not connecting to any devices or wireless network.
1. Swipe down from the top of your screen.
2. In the control center, tap the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth icons to turn them off.
8. Use a high-quality charger
It’s so sad that Google Pixel 6 or 6 Pro no longer comes with the power adapter. It only provides a type-C charging cable within the box. As a result, you must buy the power adapter separately.
Choosing a charger for your Google Pixel 6 or 6 Pro should be done with care. Buy only a high-quality power adaptor for the sake of your battery health. Choosing a power adaptor just because it’s cheap without considering its quality is not wise at all. It could damage both your phone and battery, though.
9. Keep your Google Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro cool
Heat is the primary cause of your Google Pixel 6 or Google Pixel 6 Pro’s battery draining quickly. Furthermore, allowing your phone to overheat can damage the battery. In the worst-case scenario, your phone may explode.
There have been numerous reports of phones exploding while being charged. The reason for this is that the battery is overheating.
So, if your phone becomes too hot, disconnect it from the power adaptor, allow it for a minute to cool down, or shut it down.
