How to Turn Off Siri from Reading Texts on Your AirPods Permanently or Temporarily

Siri is a smart personal assistant that can help you with a variety of tasks on your Apple devices. You can ask Siri to read messages, play music, open apps, call someone, or find articles. You can also ask Siri more specific questions, such as “What’s the weather forecast?”

It is also possible to grant Siri the ability to read messages. You also don’t have to unlock and open your iPhone to read incoming messages if you’re wearing AirPods. Instead, Siri will automatically read them to you.

However, if you find this feature annoying, you can turn it off to stop Siri from reading messages on AirPods.
