When you no longer use the cloud service in OneDrive, you can cancel your subscription easily. But before you do that, it’s better to download all the data in OneDrive and save them on an external hard drive.

1. Visit the Manage subscription page.

2. Sign in using the Microsoft account that you use to subscribe OneDrive.

3. Click Cancel subscription.

4. Follow the steps on the screen to complete the cancellation.

How to Uninstall OneDrive in Windows 11

Uninstalling OneDrive in Windows 11 won’t remove the files that you’ve synced. If you need to access the files, you can visit the OneDrive website.

1. Click Search in the taskbar and type OneDrive. 

2. Select OneDrive from the list of results.

3. Click Uninstall on the right pane.
