How to Enable TPM 2.0 on Your Windows PC
To enable TPM on your Windows PC, you should go to the BIOS and change some settings. Here’s what to do:
1. Restart your PC
2. Press DEL or other keys to enter the BIOS settings. (Each manufacturer may have a different user interface of the BIOS.)
3. Go to Settings.
4. Select Security.
5. Select Trusted Computing.
6. Select Security Device Support.
7. Choose Enable.
8. Save the configuration.
9. Restart your PC.
Your TPM setting may have a different location in your UEFI BIOS setup. It can be labeled as Advanced, Security, or Trusted Computing.
Meanwhile, the option to enable the TPM on your computer may be described as Security Device, Security Device Support, TPM State, AMD fTPM switch, AMD PSP fTPM, Intel PTT, or Intel Platform Trust Technology.
That’s how to enable TPM 2.0 on your PC.
After rebooting your Windows PC, verify the TPM Specification version by following one of the methods above. If the version is 2.0, you are good to install Windows 11 on your computer.
