Sharing Screen on Microsoft Teams
When having a meeting in Microsoft Teams, you can share the screen that others need to see. There are several ways how you would like to share your content to engage with your audience:
- By going full screen, you can focus all of your attention on the content.
- By appearing in front of the content, you can become a part of it.
- You can close the gap between yourself and your content by appearing next to it.
- You can also imitate an in-person setup by appearing beneath it.
In terms of sharing content on Microsoft Teams, there are two options you can choose from, Screen and Windows.
Screen: This option lets you share your entire screen with your audience. It means your audience can see whatever you do on your desktop, for better or worse.
Windows: This option lets you share a specific window of a program or app of your choice. Your audience won’t be able to see other windows that you’ve opened on your desktop.
If you are going to show a video to your audience, remember to enable the sound. This way, the audience will be able to hear the audio of the video.
To stop screen sharing on Microsoft Teams, you can simply click the X button on the toolbar.
