Especially, if you are using external devices with unknown and unproven brands. There are reports said that those devices can cause your system to sluggish and reduce the wifi function.

Thus, remove all external devices from your Chromebook and try to turn on your laptop again.

2. Hard reset Chromebook

The second method you can try is to do a hard reset of your Chromebook. This will help you fix the hardware malfunction on your device. Some indications of hardware failure are the touchpad or the keyboard is not responsive. 1. Turn off your Chromebook: Go to the clock at the bottom right and select Shut down.

Tablets

1. Press and hold Volume Up + Power for at least 10 seconds.

2. Release them after it boots.
